The American College of Wound Healing and Tissue Repair fosters the training of medical professionals through the sharing of a physician-based, clinical fellowship curriculum developed in conjunction with the University of Illinois Hospital and Health Sciences System and allied healthcare colleges and programs. The ultimate goal of the organization is to designate wound care as a board-certified medical specialty.
